Design and print affect the environment. Calverts has therefore implemented an environmental management system to the requirements of ISO 14001 to reduce our negative environmental impacts.

We are committed to comply with or exceed the requirements of environmental legislation and other environmental initiatives to which we subscribe. We are also committed to the prevention of pollution and continual improvement.

Books

The Colditz Cock spines

The Colditz Cock is the name of the name of a glider constructed by two prisoners of war at the infamous Colditz Castle. It's also the name of the first book from the Cartland Institute for Romance Research.

The heroine of this tale of love and derring-do is based on a young Barbara Cartland who was instrumental in the development of the air-towed glider used to transport troops during World War Two.
