Digital Printing
Gritty grey board

Grey board is a 100% post-consumer waste content recycled paper, often used as a base substrate for book covers, jigsaws and point of sale material. It's feels organic, gritty and fibrous - a perfect paper for these Urban Kitchen Gardener flyers and invites.
We've written previously on lithographically printing to grey board where the printer's main concern is preventing wet ink "setting off" in the stack. As digital printing is a dry ink process you might think that digital printing on greyboard would be a solution to the problem of drying. Speak with most digital printers though and you'll hear the same story - the paper is too thick, too bitty, not suitable for our presses, etc.
At Calverts, we like to experiment with our papers and we're happy to say that 500mic greyboard prints a treat on our Konica Minolta BizHub 8000 digital press.
Print your gritty grey board here then - while stocks last.
